I finally have a new computer, no more having to beg the 11 year old to use hers. Oh it is so nice to sit here at my key board looking at my moniter without hearing...Mum I need my computer to talk to (whatever friend is online at the time) and I need to talk to her NOW!
I can now go back to doing important things like reading fanfic and writing fanfic and discussing fanfic.
I now need to think up a suitable name for my computer, maybe Hudson the II, or George.
I have also managed to track down and purchase a copy of Joker:Devil's Advocate on Ebay as well so this has been a good week. It is an ex-library copy that is being mailed from Queensland. And the fact that the library had a copy? Methinks I have been searching for my trades and graphic novels in the wrong places.
More later as Hudson mark II or George and I get to know each other better. Poor thing does not have a clue that it is now owned by a slash writer. (insert evil grin here)

Congratulations! As the parent of a 12 year old American version of your daughter, I more than understand. *g* Enjoy your new rig, and happy reading/writing!

LOL, I am glad that you understand. Now all I have to do is try and keep my 19 year old son off it now. :-)

yea! Congrats baby! =D

Woot for fanfic! The library has a fantastic allotment of graphic novels these days =D Good luck on the naming process ;)

I have decided on Hudson the II. I miss my original Hudson though. *sniff* I am really looking forward to getting Devil's Advocate, I am just lovin' mistah J right now.
Have you read Gotham Sirens at all? It has a little of the Riddler in it. :-)

I haven't! Did it come out this week? :/

It did, I think it's going to be a good series. I do love Harley and Ivy. Catwoman's very interesting in this as well. :-)

I got it now! Just have to read it! =D

Let me know what you think. I picked up an Elseworlds comic that is set in 1900. Bruce Wayne is running Arkham Asylum. I don't always like the Elseworld's stories but this was good. Just one of my lucky finds.

I read it! It was a lot of fun! Can't wait to see what they do with it ;)

I hope that there will be more but I doubt it. I think it was just a one off story. It has great fic potential though. Especially the last couple of panels where Bruce is vowing to cure Joker even if it takes him the rest of his life. I would love to see Johnathon Crane return as a patient under the care of Bruce. I wonder what his treatments would involve?(insert evil grin here) And how would Dr Wayne care for Edward Nygma?
So many ideas. I really want to take them somewhere. :-)

Oh no! It says their own 'series' on the cover! =D Woot! *evil grin* I love how your mind works! *giggle* You must follow this train of thout to ficdom XD

LOL, I have been knocking about a few ideas. I want to do a little research on how mental health was treated in 1900. I know that some of the meathods were rough though. I have started to move my fics out of Geocities and I think that's going to take some time but I do want to start writing again. It's been so long. :-(
::hugs::

Congratulations on getting a new computer. I remember the days when we had only one here with four people who wanted to use it!

Now I have mine and J. has his and it's great! Have fun! *g*
