I called my manager today to update her on what was happening. She told me to take the next two weeks off as she is going away on holidays herself. When she comes back, she is going to put me on part time so I can ease myself back into a routine again. I am just so relieved that I still have a job to go back to.
I am feeling a lot stronger though I am still a little unsteady on my feet. I am still using George the walking stick but not as much. One good thing though, I have actually started writing again.:-) I have started a Metalocalypse fic and a nice little X Files Halloween ficlet as well. I will post them on my lj as soon as they are finished.

It feels like forever since I've posted anything but work and RL have been hammering the holy crap out of me. My hours at work have tripled and I have been working until nearly midnight for the last couple of weeks now. I am so wiped by the time I get home that I just go straight to bed. I love my job, but it's not giving me time for anything else. I have not been able to write or even keep up with my friends and lists. I don't want to complain, but I really am starting to miss having a life, you know. Still I got today off and managed to get some stuff done around the house. Next week is completely full, I don't get any time off until the week after next, then I get two whole days YAY. I am going to spend it catching up on fanfic and other fun stuff. :-)

I can't believe it has been this long since I have posted to my lj. Where do I start? I have been working 12 hour shifts over Xmas and New Year and I have not had a day off in over 2 weeks so as you can imagine, I have been wiped. My employers seem to have decided that I don't need a life and that I can work all the hours that god gave us, still the money was good though. :-) Or at least the money that the tax man did not take.
I hate being out of touch for so long though. I feel that I have missed out on so much, so if there are any birthdays or anything that I missed, I am so sorry.
I have hardly been online at all, I have been so dammed tired that I have been just coming home and going straight to bed, too tired to even eat.
Well the upside of that is that I have dropped 2 dress sizes. LOL
But now that the holiday season is just about over, things have gone back to what passes for normal and I now that a little time to spend online instead of behind a #$$& cash register.

It feels like forever since I have posted anything to my lj. My new job has kept me so busy. I have been working ten hour days so by the time I get home, I am too tired to do much. I have probably missed so many posts from everyone. I love my job but I hate working these long hours because it gives me such little time for anything else.
Once the hours even out, it will leave time for important stuff like fanfic. That reminds me, I still have not had time to see the new X Files movie yet. I might get to see it tomorrow if it is still at the cinemas. *fingers crossed*

I just wanted to check in and say hi. Sorry I have not posted on my lj for a while but I have just started a new job and I have not had time. I am working in a huge department store in the city and I have been busy learning the ins and outs of everything. I have not even had time to see the new X Files movie yet. :-( As soon as things settle down a bit, I will be back more regularly. *promise* :-)

It's been ages since I have posted anything. I have been so busy looking for work and getting my resume out there that I have put everything else on hold.
I have been getting a lot of really positive replies though so I can't
complain. :-) Still I hope I get something soon though.
I want to start working on my POTC and LT WIPs but I just don't seem to get any time these days. Things might ease up once I get a job though I hope.
